This is the most basic, and the most boring workout, but it’s benefits are tremendous. The goal is to just climb any way you feel like for 45 minutes.
The climbing should be difficult enough to keep you stimulated, but easy enough to allow you to complete a full 45 minutes.
If you can’t last that long, then start with less time and work your way up to a full 45. If 45 minutes feels to easy then increase the angle of the wall or the difficulty of the holds.
This is a pretty safe and relaxed workout, listen to some music and try to do it at least 3-4 times a week for a reasonable benefit, or 5-6 for maximum benefit. Another great way to pass the time while doing aerobic training like this is to really concentrate and focus on breathing the same as you would during yoga exercises, breathe during movement and try to exhale through the more powerful moves, it is harder than you think, but will really help when it finally turns into a regular habit. |
